Please see the following resources for clients and prospective clients. Each page provides some explanation of the skills that I frequently discuss with my clients.
The review and practice of these skills (and some others) is woven through the course of your therapy, so that you are prepared to use them in your life after you stop therapy. Usually, work on the skills is more structured in the beginning of your therapy.
Some clients prefer to focus on the skills in a structured manner and spend a lot of time with them inside and outside therapy sessions. Others prefer to become initially acquainted with them and employ them on an as needed basis as they work through the matters about which they are seeking help.
Please note that these resources are not intended as a substitute for professional help. Rather, they are provided for informational purposes about my approach and also as a reference for current clients to access as a supplement to their work with me. Direct consultation of a qualified provider should be sought for any specific questions or problems. Use of this website in no way constitutes professional service or advice.
